Mingyang Smart Energy released the MySE 11-203 semi direct drive offshore new model on LinkedIn platform on July 7, 2020. It is a new record of China’s largest wind turbine capacity, and also the world’s largest semi direct drive offshore wind turbine.

The rated power of MySE 11-203 is 11MW, the rotor diameter is 203 m, and the carbon fiber mixing blade is 99m long, which increases the annual power generation by 31% compared with the previous generation of 8MW offshore turbine. The test turbine is planned to be installed in 2021 and officially put into the market in 2022.
