On October 25, 2021, the Wind Energy Professional Committee of China Renewable Energy Society officially released the statistical briefing on China’s wind power installed capacity in 2020. In 2020, China’s wind power installed capacity reached a new high, with 20,401 new installed wind turbine units (excluding Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan), with a capacity of 54.43 million KW, a year-on-year increase of 105.1%; The cumulative installed capacity exceeded 150,000 units and the capacity exceeded 290 million KW, a year-on-year increase of 23%.
