Vestas Will Build An Wind Power Nacelle Assembly Plant In Japan

Recently, Vestas announced that it will build a new wind turbine nacelle assembly plant in Japan.

Vestas said that they made this decision after winning the subsidy of the Japanese government on the renewable energy industry chain. It is reported that the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Trade of Japan plans to invest 2.1 trillion yen (about 15.785 billion€) to support the renewable energy industry chain.

Vestas said that in addition to the nacelle assembly plant, other investments will be considered according to the demand and cost competitiveness of Japan’s wind energy market.
