On March 27, 2021, Goldwind Technology released its annual report for 2020, with annual operating revenue of 56.265 billion RMB, a year-on-year increase of 47.12%, reaching a new high in recent three years.
The net profit of Goldwind Technology in 2020 also hit a new high in nearly three years. According to the announcement, the net profit attributable to the shareholders of the listed company was 2.964 billion RMB, a year-on-year increase of 34.10%; the net profit attributable to the shareholders of the listed company after deducting the non recurring profit and loss was 2.763 billion RMB, a year-on-year increase of 70.42%.
Based on the total share capital of 4,225,067,647 shares after allotment, the company will distribute 2.5 RMB (tax included) per 10 shares, with a total dividend of 1.056.266.911.75 RMB.
Goldwind has three main business sections: wind turbine manufacturing, wind power services, wind farm investment and development, and other businesses such as water affairs. Among them, wind turbine revenue is still the largest main business of Goldwind. According to the announcement, the sales revenue of wind turbine and parts of Goldwind is 46.659 billion RMB, accounting for 82.92% of the company’s total revenue, up 61.62% year on year.
The trend of large turbines is obvious. Thanks to the industry policy, the external sales capacity of Goldwind in 2020 was 12931.66MW, up 58.26% year-on-year, in which the sales capacity of 3S/4S turbines increased significantly, by 104.57% year-on-year; 2S turbines were still the main models, with the sales capacity reaching 10714.30MW.
During the reporting period, the total number of external orders to be executed is 10771.27MW, and the total number of external orders in hand is 14398.47MW.
Overseas orders increased year on year. Among the external pending orders of overseas orders, the volume of overseas orders is 1.99GW, an increase of 0.5GW compared with 1.4GW in 2019.
Wind power operation and maintenance services ranked the second largest main business. According to the announcement, the operation and maintenance service revenue of Goldwind in 2020 was 4.434 billion RMB, a year-on-year increase of 23.93%.
Power generation is the third major business. During the reporting period, the company’s wind power projects achieved power generation income of 4.019 billion RMB, and the investment income of wind farms during the reporting period is 1.035 billion RMB.
During the reporting period, the company’s new equity grid connected installed capacity of domestic and foreign self operated wind farms is 1238MW, and the transferred equity grid connected capacity is 437MW. By the end of the reporting period, the global cumulative equity grid connected installed capacity was 5487MW; the capacity of domestic and foreign equity wind farms under construction is 2818MW; and the domestic approved equity capacity of resources not started was 2301MW.
