Text:

On July 3, 202, the Ministry of industry of Japan shared that it had delimited 10 areas that might be suitable for the development of offshore wind farms. 4 of those 10 areas are about to start the development including Aomori county (north) in the sea of Japan; Aomori county (south) in the sea of Japan; Bawei Town, Akita County; and near Jiangdao Island, Xihai City, Nagasaki county.

In the “5th Energy Basic Plan” of the Japanese government, it is clear that renewable energy power generation will be the main power generation energy in the future. The ultra-high fixed electricity price (more than RMB 2/kWh) and the 30-year operation period of offshore wind power all make Japan a new market for international developers to rush into.
