Recently, the first set of TMT160 wind turbine blades independently developed by CRRC Zhuzhou Times New Materials (TMT) were shipped from China Power Valley factory and exported to Vietnam.

TMT160 blade is independently developed by TMT, using family extension technology, making full use of the existing accessories and shell mould for upgrade and optimization, which saves mould investment cost. The blade can be matched with 3.3MW-3.6MW units, with the largest load in the blade profile of the same MW grade and the lightest weight in the blade profile of the same length. Thanks to efficient design optimization work, TMT blade development team of CRRC Zhuzhou Institute has reduced the weight of blade by 8.72% and improved blade performance.
