Haizhuang’s First 6.2MW Wind Turbine Unit With Localized Main Control System Was Put Into Operation

On May 29, 2021, CSIC Haizhuang Wind Power Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Haizhuang”) successfully put the first self controllable 6.2MW offshore wind turbine unite with localized main control system into operation in Huadian Fuqing Haitan Strait offshore wind power project.

In 2021, Haizhuang, together with Huadian Fujian company, Guodian Nanzi and Huadian Electric Power Research Institute, started the research and development of the localization of the core components of wind turbines, and took the lead to form a technical team with Kekai Qianwei and Lingjiu Electric to gather wisdom to tackle key problems. The main control system of the grid connected wind turbine adopts domestic CPU processor and programming environment, and the developed software platform meets IEC 61131-3 standard and NB/T 31043 standard. Through the research of Bus Integration and optimization technology and hierarchical technology, the system time management is more effective. The algorithm standard library is established, the module interface is solidified, the data acquisition and data storage are decoupled, the main control software architecture is reconstructed, the system occupancy is reduced, and the operation efficiency of the main control is greatly improved. Based on the recognition of characteristic condition speed state, an accurate on-line extraction algorithm of ECD condition characteristic quantity is developed, and the global pitch cooperative control technology is adopted to reduce the limit load by more than 10%, so as to ensure the efficient and safe operation of the wind turbine unit.
