Hyzon Motors & Raven SR Plan To Build 100 Hydrogen Plants With Garbage As The Feed Material

Keywords: Hydrogen

Text:

Hyzon Motors has signed an agreement with Raven SR, a renewable fuel company, to establish 100 hydrogen plants with garbage as the feed material in the United States and around the world to produce green hydrogen at the same cost as gray hydrogen.

Hyzon announced the news on April 27, 2021, and said that each center is expected to convert almost all forms of organic waste into locally produced renewable hydrogen for use in zero emission commercial vehicles of Hyzon. These conversion centers are planned to be built in landfills and are expected to power garbage trucks and other types of heavy trucks.

The first facilities are planned to be built in California and then expanded to other parts of the United States and around the world.
