On April 22, 2021, Sinoma announced in Shenzhen Stock Exchange that Taishan Glass Fiber, its wholly-owned subsidiary, plans to invest 965 million RMB to build a new generation of high modulus and high strength glass fiber production line with an annual output of 90,000 tons in Tai’an City, Shandong Province.

The project adopts a new generation of high modulus and high strength THM glass formula developed independently, which meets the new requirements of high-power wind turbine blades and offshore wind power for the elastic modulus and tensile strength of glass fiber, and has a broad market prospect.

According to the project feasibility study report, after the completion of the project, it is estimated that the average annual sales revenue will be 710 million RMB, the average annual profit will be 185 million RMB, and the total return on investment will be 20.34%.
