Abstract: On July 31, 2020, the National Energy Administration released the grid connected operation of wind power in the first half of 2020.

Affected by the epidemic situation of COVID-19, the newly installed capacity of wind power in China has reached 6.32 million kW (6.32 GW), which is lower than the 9.09 million kW in 2019. Yunnan, Sichuan and Guangxi have higher average utilization hours of wind power.
According to industry statistics, in the first half of 2020, 6.32 million kilowatts of wind power has been installed nationwide, including 5.26 million kilowatts of onshore wind power and 1.06 million kilowatts of offshore wind power. By the end of June, the total installed capacity of wind power in China was 217 million kilowatts, including 210 million kilowatts of onshore wind power and 6.99 million kilowatts of offshore wind power.
