Windey Launched 7.5MW Onshore Wind Turbine

Recently, the onshore wind turbine unit WD195-7500 developed by Windey has been certified by the authority in the field of wind power. At present, it is a 7MW+ platform certified unit of the world’s largest onshore wind turbine, and the platform power range can cover 6.5MW-7.5MW.

The unit adopts self-developed blades with integrated design of the whole machine, and the performance is highly matched with the unit. The 195m wind turbine provides nearly 30,000 square meters of sweeping area, the power generation performance is more than 70% higher than that of the 150m wind turbine, and the unit capacity is 50% higher than that of the 5MW unit.

By developing a high-quality blade simulation model suitable for the unit, the performance parameters of the real blade are close to the greatest extent, the aerodynamic performance of the blade is optimally matched, the load of the whole turbine is reduced by more than 10%, and the weight of the blade is reduced by 5% – 10% compared with the traditional design. At the same time, it is equipped with independent pitch and adaptive control strategy to make the power generation efficiency close to the limit.
