Vestas Wind Systems in Denmark recently announced the delivery of wind turbine orders for 290MW wind power projects in the United States. According to the contract, the Danish manufacturer will provide 16 60MW V162-6.2 MW wind turbines and one 5.6MW V150-6.0MW wind turbine in operation mode for Deerfield 2 wind farm in Michigan. Meanwhile, Sandy Ridge 2 wind farm in Algonquin, Pennsylvania will be equipped with 14 V150-6.0MW wind turbines and one V136-3.45MW wind turbine in 3.6MW operation mode.
