On September 1, 2021, the offshore wind power blade S102 independently developed by Shanghai Electric Wind Power launched off the production line successfully in Lianyungang Zhongfu Lianzhong (LZ). The blade is 102 meters long and is designed according to GL2015 and IEC61400-5 standards to meet the requirements of offshore class I typhoon wind area.

According to the plan, S102 blade will be tested in LZ testing center. The test includes natural frequency, static, fatigue and post static tests. The R & D and testing of the blade will promote the industrial application of large blade and large MW units in China and open a new era of offshore wind power.
