On May 22, 2021, China Shipbuilding Group CSSC Wind Power Co., Ltd. held the ceremony to celebrate the successful production of the first H171-5MW offshore wind turbine in Rudong factory, Jiangsu Province. H171-5MW offshore wind turbine is jointly developed by Huaneng and CSSC. The first class components of the wind turbine are 100% domestic produced, and the localization rate of all the other components is more than 95%.
