China Wind Energy Association of China Renewable Energy Society has recently completed the Wind Power Industry Map in 2019, which has released the data of China’s wind power overall installed capacity and wind turbine manufacturers’ installed capacity in 2019.
In 2019, China (except Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) has 10916 new installed wind turbines and 26785 MW of new installed capacity, with a year-on-year increase of 26.7%; by the end of 2019, China has installed more than 135000 wind turbines, with a cumulative installed capacity of 236 million kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 12.8%. China’s wind power installed scale continues to maintain a steady growth trend.
In 2019, there are a total of 17 wind power manufacturers in China, with an additional installed capacity of 26785 MW. Among them, the new installed capacity of Goldwind reached 8014 MW, with a market share of 30%; followed by Envision, Mingyang, Windey and DEC, with the top five companies accounting for 73.4% of the total market share.
By the end of 2019, there are nearly 70 wind power manufacturers in China, with a total installed capacity of 236 million kilowatts. Among them, the cumulative installed capacity of Goldwind exceeded 57000 MW, with a market share of 24.3%; followed by Envision, Mingyang, GUP and Sinovel, with the cumulative installed capacity of the top five manufacturing enterprises accounting for 57.5%.
