Recently, Mingyang Smart Energy’s first MYSE5.2-166 wind turbine has been successfully installed in Dabancheng, Urumqi, Xinjiang, which is the largest single onshore wind turbine installed in Asia.

Mingyang MYSE5.X wind turbine is developed for Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang and other areas with medium and high wind speed. Based on MYSE3.0-4.0MW mature platform, MySE5.X can ensure the universality of the platform and facilitate the assembly, transportation, hoisting and later operation and maintenance of the turbine.

On the premise that the overall size of the gearbox is basically equivalent to that of MYSE4.0MW gearbox, the power density of the MYSE5.X is greatly improved and the efficiency is more excellent. In addition, the blade of MYSE5.X is developed by carbon glass hybrid knitting technology, which greatly reduces the weight of the rotor system and the load of the whole system.
