On February 1, 2021, China Longyuan Power Group Co., Ltd., China Energy, held a signing ceremony for the construction cooperation of the Year-Round-Fault-Free demonstration wind farms in Beijing. Longyuan will work together with 8 wind turbine manufacturers, including Goldwind, Envision, United Power, Siemens Gamesa, Sinovel, Vestas, DEC and Shanghai Electric, to build a number of Year-Round-Fault-Free demonstration wind farms .
It is reported that this is the first wind power development enterprise in the wind power industry to propose the construction of Year-Round-Fault-Free demonstration wind farms.
Characters of Year-Round-Fault-Free demonstration wind farms:
- No fault trip in power transmission, transformation and distribution (excluding equipment faults such as SVG that are affected outside the wind farm and do not affect the operation of wind turbines);
- The wind turbine does not have the faults that need to be treated locally (including reset) (the fault shutdown time is longer than 10 minutes, excluding the faults caused by force majeure such as blade icing, extremely cold temperature and typhoon).
